Picks of the month: drama, song, book (February, 2015)

Drama:

SPY

Who can you trust?

Finally an action story which is not an undercover romantic melodrama. It’s not The chaser but still, Spy has a pretty decent story with intriguing characters and with a great OST too. Spy is an adaptation of an Israeli drama (The Gordin Cell) about an agent in the National Intelligence Service and his mother who is a former North Korean spy.

Song:

4minute- Crazy

Don’t make yourself lonely anymore
Find your hidden self in the world before you tonight
Go crazy, scream, enjoy it

Book:

The girl on the train by Paula Hawkins

“Life is not a paragraph, and death is no parenthesis.”

While 80% of it might feel like a mixture of Gone girl and Before I go to sleep, at the same time The girl on the train still has a different approach and definitely a more satisfying ending. A story which keeps you guessing right up to the point of the reveal.
